At the Chandigarh Airport, Bollywood actress and recently elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut
was smacked by a female CISF guard.According to officials, Kulwinder Kaur, a female constable, was enraged by
Kangana Ranaut’s stance on the farmers’ protest.
He claimed that a FIR has been filed against the constable and that he has been suspended. The ‘Court of Inquiry’ has been ordered by CISF, the agency in charge of airport security, in relation to theincident. Kulwinder Kaur has also been put on suspension.
According to the paramilitary security guard, Ms. Ranaut’s previous statement set her off.”According to her remark,
farmers are waiting for ₹100. Is she going to go sit there?
“When my mother made this statement in 2020, she was sitting there and protesting against the three farm laws that
the Center had passed,” the woman remarked.
Ms. Ranaut had mentioned on social media during the height of a nationwide uprising that an old womanat a protest
site was getting paid ₹ 100 to sit there.The actor removed the post in the wake of strong criticism.
