Story of Rabel Moon
When Noble and his men arrive on the independent planet Veldt, they demand that Father Sindri, the chief of the hamlet, offer them grain so they can restock on food while they search for Clan Bloodaxe, a group of rebels.
When Sindri refuses to negotiate with Noble, an aspirational farmer named Gunnar gets upset. The Admiral then knocks Sindri to death and gives Gunnar the task of preparing all of the village’s crops before he returns.
Kora, a villager, gathers her belongings to leave, but she confronts and kills the Imperium troops when she witnesses them trying to rape a young woman. The villagers are informed by Kora that she was formerly a soldier in the Imperium, the best army in Motherworld.
As they travel, Kora tells them that when she was a young kid, Balisarius, before he became Regent, adopted her after invading her planet and killing her parents. She became the elite bodyguard of the kind Princess Issa as she trained and battled for the Motherworld.
Kora discovered during this period that Issa was endowed with the ability to heal the injured and even bring the dead back to life, suggesting that there is a tremendous deal of magic in this enormous universe. As Queen, Issa was supposed to put a stop to the centuries-long strife in the Motherworld, so Kora feels particularly bad about her untimely demise.
Kora (Sofia Boutella), a stranger with an enigmatic past, crashes land on a moon in the farthest reaches of the universe and starts over amid a tranquil community of farmers. However, she quickly emerges as their only chance of survival when the brutal emissaries of the despotic Regent Balisarius and Admiral Noble learn that the farmers had inadvertently sold their produce to the Bloodaxes who are the leaders of a ferocious group of rebels being pursued by the Motherworld.
